Enhanced Production and Risk Management in Agriculture (EPRiMA)

The Enhanced Production and Risk Management in Agriculture Integrated Decision Support System (EPRiMA) is a project of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations ("FAO") which aims to increase resilience against multiple-threats to the agriculture sector. With its successful implementation of past projects and engagement with FAO, Caraga State University, thru Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, has been tapped by FAO to implement the conceptualization, design and development of the integrated decision support system (DSS) for EPRiMA. The CSU EPRiMA team was invited to a meeting with the FAO at the DRRM Operations Center, Department of Agriculture Central Office on June 12-14, 2019. The objective of the meeting and training is to understand the DCC tool as well as produce agricultural advisory information by running the CAMDT-DCC tool. The results of the CAMDT simulations will be aggregated and displayed in the EPRiMA portal. The two developers of the CAMDT tool namely Dr. Eunjin Han and Dr. Amor Ines of Columbia State University were invited as speakers.
