ACES and CCIS conducted a Culmination Program concerning Productivity Enhancement using IT Tools

In particular, the said training is a project extension of the CSU-CCIS entitled "Productivity Enhancement Online Workshop Using IT Tools." It was conducted through a series of training sessions from December 2021 to April 2022. More so, it introduced and highlighted some of the timely and essential IT tools and best practices in the area of Graphic Designing; Video Editing; Interactive Presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint; Data Management, and Analysis through the Integration of Google Forms, Excel, and Word; and Video Lecture Recording and Streaming. 

DOST Undersecretary visited and probed the different project outputs of each RDI Centers and Programs of CSU

The Centers and Programs include four from the CCIS: Information and Communication Technology Center (ICTC); Center for Human-Computer Interactions (CHCI); Virtual Learning Research Center (VLRC); and Sustainable Mineral and Mining Operations using Industry 4.0 (SuMMOI).

The projects presented during the visit and their respective center and program under CCIS operations are the following:

Officials and personnel of FSUU conducted benchmarking activity at CSU

The activity aims to gauge essential tips and inputs concerning the college's RDI Centers and the CCIS's best practices in research, development, innovation, and extension (RDIE). Furthermore, the said officials also ingress different offices and facilities of the university, including the MIS Office, Center for Robotics, Automation, and Fabrication Technologies (CRAFT), and the new Science for Change Program - the Sustainable Minerals and Mining Operations using Industry 4.0 (SuMMO) Center.

Multi-Stakeholders’ Forum and Oath-Taking of CCIS Alumni Officers on the CISCon 2022

Dr. Rolyn Daguil, CCIS Dean concluded that the forum is timely and is aligned with the current and future computing research, extension, and production of different RDI Centers of the CCIS to the goals and plans of the City Government of Butuan. More so, recent research and development of the RDI Centers include; (1) Design and Development of Intelligent Traffic Control and Management System; (2) Real Property Management, Mapping, and Visualization; and (3) Geographic Information System for Agricultural and Fisheries Machinery and Infrastructure.

CALL FOR PAPERS!

The Journal of Automation, Computing, Information, and Data Sciences is now accepting original research papers for publication on topics in Automation, Computing, Information, and Data Science. Everyone is welcome to submit an 8-12 pages proposal in IEEE format to jacids@carsu.edu.ph on or before June 30, 2022. Further, the submitted proposals shall be subjected to peer-review evaluation and should not have been submitted for review or published elsewhere!
